There are few wonderful places like Sinai and in the south tip of it rises the high mountain of the peninsula- a herd of picks around 2,500 meters above sea level, Granite, metamorphic, gardens, ancient monasteries and the proud Bedouins of the Jabalia (“Mountaineers”) that were brought to this region 1600 years ago from Macedonia to guard the monastery.
We shall walk for 6 days, climb to the sunrise from Mount Sinai and 2 more picks, we dive into blue deep pools in the Wadis and sleep our nights by the fire in the Bedouin gardens.
The food and big packs are carried by camels. We cook and eat together.
The Group is any no from 8- 15people.
The guides speaks Hebrew, Arabic and English and can do by simple French and Spanish.
Program:
Day 1: Meeting in Taba border 0800 AM, crossing and driving to St. Catherine. climbing to Jabel Musa (Sinai Mountain) night in a hidden valley of Jabel Safsafa
Day 2. Sun rise from top of the mountain climbing down to visit the famed St. Catherine monastery, walk to Nakeb Jifa and night under the red Granites of Wadi Jibal
Day 3. Climb to Jabel Bab to the spring of Eyn Nagila- grand view from Bab el Dunya (GATE of the world). Night in Wadi Jibal
Day 4. Walking down Wadi Talaa to the most beautiful water pool of Sinai – Gulat el Azrak (“The blue pool”), climb nakeb um Sila night on Wadi Abu Tweta
Day 5. Wadi Tinia, Wadi Shag, night in a Bedouin garden with pools
Day 6. Out to the main valley under Mount Sinai, drive to the beach, snorkeling and back to border around 1800 PM
